Developed exclusively for the BMW R 1300 GSfrom years of experience working with the BMW GS range and its boxer engines. A double flow muffler constructed fromlightweight titaniumand a handmadecarbon-fibreend cap gives a weight saving of 9.3% overstandard stock.
Created for improved performance andenhanced soundsilencing, which mitigates the impact on the environment, whilst delivering a deep, full sound. A special profiled surface on the muffleraddsstrengthanddurabilityand is finished with an engraved logo.
Power and torque increasesof 1.4kW (1.9hp) at 7,600rpm and 4.5Nm at 2,300rpm.These figures were obtained in back-to-back runs on the Akrapovi dyno against a BMW R 1300 GS using a standard stock exhaust.EC/ECE-type approval, simple plug and play installation withno remappingrequired.
Once installed the system is all fully compatible with BMW Motorrad’s side cases.
