9 mm hexagonal chain with fabric sleeve to prevent damage to the motorbike’s paintwork. The chain, the lock body as well as supporting elements of the locking mechanism are made of Abuss special hardened steel. ABUS chains are made from virgin steel and are hardened using a temper hardened process. This makes the chain extra hard to cut and both sides of the link need to be cut to open the chain.

The lock cylinder uses ABUS Plus cylinder for high protection against manipulations, e.g. picking also features automatic keyhole cover to prevent dirt and corrosion. Two keys are supplied with the lock, one LED torch key, ABUS Code Card for additional or replacement keys supplied.
