FIVE has redesigned the basic principles of thermal insulation by using a new method of construction they call THERMO+: offering up to 20% greater thermal efficiency. The idea is quite simple: the thick insulation on the topside reaches all the way down into the area between the fingers, whereas the thinner insulation is contained within the flat part of the palm and fingers. All other winter glove elements have been considered to retain impeccable suppleness, grip control, and protection. The WFX Prime EVO GTX glove features premium protective elements: a FIVE ERGO PROTECH one-piece shell and a wide panel in SuperFabric: an ultra-tough fabric that includes epoxy resin microbeads. Not to mention, and this is new for this EVO version, a soft-TPR protective palm shell in ERGO PROTECH.
